Goal #2 - Increase Quality

Objectives:

1. Provide infant-toddler core knowledge professional development events for 105 child care staff throughout Kansas.

2. Implement and evaluate the KQRIS rating system.

3. Embed inclusion throughout the infant/toddler service delivery system.

4. Provide professional development to local KELC partners on best practices in screening designed to enhance early identification and referral for children with developmental concerns.

5. Provide professional development to local KELC partners on best practices in inclusion with early childhood partner programs.

6. Support and expand the Kansas Infant Mental Health Endorsement Program, supporting professionals to pursue, achieve, and renew their endorsement.

7. Provide mental health trainings to child care providers, KELC partners, and families.
