Goal 1: Increase Access

Objectives:

1. Expand and support the availability of Kansas Early Head Start to a total of 1249 pregnant women, infants, and toddlers.

2. Increase and/or maintain the number of high-quality I/T child care slots available.

3. Provide access to high quality, evidence based child care information, education, resources, and/or referrals to families seeking I/T child care.

4. Expand and support services to an additional 550 families with 687 children prenatal to age 3 years of age through Parents as Teachers.

5. Provide Healthy Families services to 200 families.

6. Expand and support mental health consultation services.

7.  Provide early identification and inclusion services for infants and toddlers I/T in child care programs.

8.  Support and enhance Kansas tiny-k services.
