What is KELC? The Kansas Early Learning Collaborative (KELC) is a collaboration among six statewide early learning organizations serving young children and their families. Partners provide evidence-based, high-quality early learning services to at-risk children and families including: personal home visits, screening, mental health consultation, parent education, quality initiatives, and infant/toddler child care. Beginning in 2009 early learning and community partners developed shared vision, goals, and strategies that have improved access, quality, collaboration, and outcomes for children and families in twelve Kansas counties. To date, KELC partners have served over 14,0000 children in collaboration with more than 40 local organizations. Download KELC Overview here.
